Clubs

Besides actively participating in class, as a Leeds MBA student you will play a dynamic role in shaping the program and making it your own. You will take an active part in student organizations and in the life of the school. Student-run organizations plan and execute special events including the Net Impact Case Competition, fund-raising auctions, and community service activities. As a Leeds MBA student you will constantly be looking for opportunities to grow and succeed. You will work with mentors, center directors, faculty, and local entrepreneurs to capitalize on additional resources, complete hands-on projects, and gain in-depth industry knowledge. See more networking information.

In addition to the more formal groups listed below, the network of student-run organizations often organize informal events including tailgate parties before football games, fund-raising events, Thursday Night Outs (TNOs), athletic competitions, and community service activities.

Yan Wen

I aspire to start up my own consulting company serving Chinese high-tech enterprises in international business. I realize that, to tackle further challenges on the road and reach my career goals, I need a more comprehensive education in business and management. These needs, together with my drive for excellence, motivate me to pursue a Leeds MBA.

I'm inspired by Leeds' world-class curriculum, hands-on learning approach, small size class, the uniquely diverse community, and the commitment to social responsibilities. I believe all these will enrich me with a full range of business knowledge and skills, experiences with different cultures, exciting practical opportunities, as well as a solid comradeship.
