Recreation

We believe that the environment in which we work and study is important at a personal level. If you are studying hard, it helps to do it in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Boulder is widely rated as one of the best places to live and it was recently ranked third among the "smartest small towns" by bizjournals.com. The campus has been ranked fourth "most architectural successful" campus in the country, and Outside Magazine rated CU-Boulder the second best college in turning out "smart grads with top-notch academic credentials, a healthy environmental ethos and an A+ sense of adventure."

Many Boulder residents have discovered the pleasure of using an outdoor workout to keep in shape and reduce stress. The Boulder Creek bike path offers miles of scenic tails for walking, running, roller-blading and biking. Chautauqua Park and the nearby foothills provide many different trails for any level hiker or trail runner. The Flatirons are also very popular for rock climbing, and Eldorado Canyon, located just outside of Boulder, offers world-class rock climbing terrain as well as scenic hiking trails.

Student Recreation Center
A state-of-the-art recreation center is available to all fee-paying students. The recreation center boasts a variety of equipment and facilities to accommodate many recreational interests and needs. Equipment for a variety of outdoor activities is also available to members.

The recreation center also offers competitive and leisure athletic programs. Club sports accommodate all ability levels by providing a range of sports activities from clinics and training sessions to intercollegiate competitions.

Intramural Sports
Intramural sports offer activities for men, women, and co-recreation interaction and competition. A variety of competition levels allow participants of all abilities to enjoy intramural athletics. Previous MBA teams have been a dominant force in football, hockey, softball, volleyball, soccer, and basketball. The recreation center also hosts an outdoor program that provides trips and activities in the Colorado outdoors and a ski bus service that offers easy and economical transportation to selected ski resorts.

Patrick Conant

Leeds is helping me build a solid foundation of business fundamentals to complement my work experience.

In the Leeds program, I get to work with the same classmates for the entire program; as a result, our class has a great relationship that will extend well beyond graduation.
